Deze delicate, in de schaduw gedroogde bladeren uit de Chinese provincie Fujian zijn van nature rijk aan antioxidanten. Egyptische kamillebloemblaadjes en Chinese osmanthusbloemen voegen een geurige, geroosterde, romige en lichtzoete bloemige smaak toe.
I was hesitant about a chamomile-forward tea, but the Egyptian chamomile here is so soft and the osmanthus adds a buttery sweetness that lingers. The leaves are visibly delicate and shade-dried, and the brew comes out a lovely golden color without any bitterness.
The osmanthus gives it this warm, toasty sweetness that I didn't expect from a tea, and the chamomile keeps it super smooth. I've been brewing a cup every afternoon and the creamy finish lingers just long enough to make the whole ritual feel special.
The floral aroma is lovely, though I wish the osmanthus came through a bit stronger next to the chamomile. Still, it brews up creamy and toasty, and the shade-dried leaves have a smoothness that makes it my new afternoon pick.
