That first steep was a deep amber-red, exactly as described, and the floral sweetness came through without any bitterness. The leaves are beautifully wiry with golden tips, and they held up for three infusions before fading. A lovely, calming pot for an afternoon break.
Brewed a pot this morning and the liquor is a gorgeous amber-red, almost glowing in the cup. The floral sweetness comes through right at the front, and it's got that clean finish that makes you want another sip before the mug's empty.
