Grown in the foothills of the Himalayas, this blend of first and second flush Darjeeling teas produces a light, yet complex tea with the aroma and flavor of fruits, nuts and flowers complemented by rich, toasty, buttery notes.
The second flush gives it that classic Darjeeling muscatel kick, but the fruit and nut notes stay surprisingly delicate even after a longer steep. I've been brewing it every afternoon and the floral finish lingers just right without turning bitter.
That fruity, nutty aroma hit me the second the water touched the leaves, and it carried straight through to the taste. This first and second flush blend is genuinely complex but never heavy—my new afternoon ritual.
